Payroll Accountant

Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

We are seeking a Full-Time Payroll Accountant for our administrative office located in Saint Paul, MN.

The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for preparing Accessible Space, Inc.'s ( ASI ) financial statements and daily financial operations including cash receipts and general ledger recordings. In addition, this position will be responsible for administering ASI's payroll function (bi-weekly) Hybrid schedule available after training.

To qualify, you must have: A four-year-degree in accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A demonstrated knowledge of and experience with general accounting practices and procedures and multi-funded programs. Proficiency with MS Word applications and financial reporting software packages. Work experience in a multi-state nonprofit environment and demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead staff a plus!
