Submersible Pump Mechanic

Competitive Pay: This position offers a hourly wage ranging from $25.56/hr. to $37.11/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

As a Submersible Pump Mechanic you will be responsible for the tear down, repair, and rebuild of submersible pumps and motors. The role will work out of our JCI Industries location in Dodge City, KS. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in submersible equipment repair and maintenance, a strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent problem-solving skills.

What You'll Do:

• Tear down submersible equipment, utilizing manufacturer's recommendations and industry best practices. Inspect equipment and parts for wear and damage.
• Diagnose possible reason(s) for failure.
• Provide information on parts and additional work required.
• Provide recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment. Complete information in reports as required.
• Paint and prepare equipment for shipment.
• Load, secure to truck, and deliver equipment as necessary. Clean and organize shop as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
