Anit-Terrorism / Force Protection Security Specialist - Senior-level

The Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Specialist will serve as an on-site intermediate security specialist for the Joint Program Office (JPO). Responsible for orchestrating day to day client delivery for the Anti-terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Security Support Services. Provide client interface and report to clients and senior contractor team leadership. Must be capable to work in a team environment.

A Senior-level person within a labor category has at least 10 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description. A Senior-level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties

Performance Shall Include:

• Assist with planning and assessment of the JPO AT and Insider Threat Programs. Participate in inter and intra-agency collaborative efforts, prepare reports and memoranda. Assist in revising existing or developing new policies, plans, procedures and training material, and make recommendations.
• Assist Government security leads with the development and execution of the F-35 JPO ATFP Plan.
• Maintain, update, and coordinate Continuity Of Operations Plan (COOP), Occupant Emergency Plan (OEP), Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and all other required documents to support this program.
• Identify defensive measures used to reduce the vulnerability of individuals and property to terrorist acts.
• Perform analyses as a basis for developing plans and programs to protect assets.
• Conduct monthly Random Access Measures (RAMs) IAW Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO) guidance.
• Ensure the F-35 JPO is prepared for yearly ATO inspections.
• Ensure every AT Representative (ATR) is current with all required training and certifications.
• Attend all required ATFP meetings for JPO occupied facilities in Arlington, VA and provide all supporting documents to support these meetings and the JPO program.
• Conduct all required drills and training events to include training materials to support the JPO ATFP program.

Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Master's Degree in the stated discipline or a Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
• Experience in a security role embedded within the arena of complex weapons systems design, fielding or deployment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
