POSITION: Production Line Technician

LOCATION: Albany, GA

STATUS: Open, Funded - Temporary hire with potential regular full-time employment

CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

***NOTE effective 9/1/25: This position will work on an Alternate Work Schedule meaning the employee will work M-Th 7-430 and 7-330 on Friday and the following week the employee will work M-Th 7:430 and have that Friday off. ***

DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is seeking a Production Line Technician for a temporary position assignment. Primary duties include performing standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations in a production focused work area. Follow standard work methods on recurring assignments but receive explicit instructions on unfamiliar assignments. Technical adequacy of routine work is reviewed on completion; non-routine work may be reviewed in progress. This technician performs at this level, one or a combination of such typical duties as:



  1. Following specific instructions, assembles or constructs simple or standard equipment or parts, servicing or repairing simple instruments or equipment.
  2. Conducting a variety of tests using established methods, preparing test specimens, adjusting and operating equipment, recording test data, and pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors.


Primary duties will include (but not limited to):



  • Review system parts lists and record any deviations.
  • Conduct inventory control of Government equipment, repair parts, and supplies.
  • Provide testing, repair and maintenance of Chemical and Biological protection masks
  • Perform visual inspections, functional tests, and machine testing to evaluate the condition of Chemical and Biological protection masks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Record station data into a computer program daily.
  • Comply with host facility regulations relevant to safety and environmental issues.
  • Conduct maintenance of Government equipment and specific chemical and biological protection equipment utilizing Government-furnished supplies/parts.
  • Be trained to conduct visual inspections, functional tests, and machine testing of emerging CBRN equipment.
  • Be trained to operate and conduct mask testing on Mask testing machine.
  • Be trained to conduct intermediate-level maintenance
  • Be trained to perform operator testing


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:



  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Desired Certification to conduct testing of M40 Series, M50 Series, M53, MCU Series, and M45 protective masks; ALO/AFS/BVO; JB1GU/JB2GU and CP Gloves; and the M2 TAP apron.

At times, standing for extended periods of time.

Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.
