Our Additives and Absorbents Operations Team is seeking a Maintenance professional to assist in the management and coordination of our Master SAP transactions needed to create and manage maintenance and contractor work schedules. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% of staffed labor is scheduled, leading daily meetings to align work schedules with Supply Chain, Mining, and Operations, and supporting 100% schedule compliance. This role involves implementing changes with Maintenance and Operations to ensure maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities



  • Responsible for managingSAP work notifications, train team members to enter work notifications, and manage the conversion of work notifications into work orders. Ensure planners have sufficient work in SAP and support planning activities. Support 100% SAMACO compliance.
  • You will create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other documents in Intelex.
  • Complete Lean Six Sigma training and projects to achieve Yellow Belt / Green Belt certification. Lead and support 5S events.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve product quality, reduce manufacturing costs, and increase delivery/goods issue reliability.
  • Conduct GEMBA walks and MSHA workplace inspections. Create incident reports in Dakota and Intelex. Support regulatory compliance with MSHA, FDEP, and other permitting agencies.
  • Manage embedded contractors and align activities with daily work schedules. Implement changes to help achieve EVP and maintenance spend targets.



Requirements



  • High School Diploma or equivalent a must, Associate's Degree preferred, but relevant industrial experience is also recognized in place of a degree. 10 years or greater experience if no degree present.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance, operations management, or manufacturing support role.
  • Understanding of multiple crafts (mechanical, I/E, scaffolding, rigging, excavation) preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma training preferred. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/PowerPoint) and Excel and SAP experience is required (80% transitions in SAP)
  • Ability to react and adapt quickly to unforeseen issues, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both hourly and salaried personnel.
  • Demonstrated integrity and the ability to use data to justify recommended changes.
