Position Summary

The Raw Materials Coordinator is responsible for keeping a current, accurate inventory of all raw material roll stock, and monitor & replenish consumables for press and finishing departments.

The Raw Materials Coordinator reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

General Duties of the Raw Materials Coordinator

  • Retrieve and issue roll stock, supplies, and other materials for PA's; manually pre-pick roll stock from racking using FIFO methods.

  • Organize and maintain stockroom inventory for efficient material storage and handling while maintaining labeling system on each stock item.

  • Receive returned roll stock materials from pressroom; inspect and ensure the returned footage and MSI counts are accurate, and return to inventory.

  • Utilize and maintain Roll Stock Inventory spreadsheet to properly account for returns, new materials and associated stock, adhering to strict accounting procedures in this regard.

  • Conduct cycle counts of inventory materials and assist in conducting each complete physical inventory count.

  • Receive and deliver supplies and other materials as needed, matching purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, etc. with product received.

  • Monitor and maintain corrugated box, core and other consumables inventories for all production items including grower finishing supplies.

  • Place orders to replenish production supplies in a timely fashion so as to not run out of any consumable items.

  • Monitor ink room stock levels and communicate a request for more ink as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Be honest and have integrity.

  • Work with staff as a team, and with respect.

  • Effectively and efficiently manage time.

Required Training

  • A minimum of four weeks training

  • Training on each of the following procedures: Pr-4.2-02, Pr-7.4-01, Pr-7.4-02, Pr-7.5-02, Pr-7.5-05, Pr-8.3-01, Pr-8.5-0

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent desired.

Required Experience

  • Past experience with Forklift driving is desired.

Required Skills

  • A basic knowledge of Word, Excel and typing experience.

  • Strong organizational skills are desired.
