PURPOSE Supervises the installation of pre-fabricated components such as windows, doors, insulation and related products on the customer sites. Responsible for all aspects of Install activities including planning, coordinating and assigning work in order to meet or exceed installation scheduling goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules Installs by coordinating with sales commitments/releases and fabrication loads. Ensures economical delivery options are utilized and optimizes materials handling equipment and delivery vehicles.
- Monitors installation schedule in order to coordinate the delivery of materials, sequence of installers and optimize use of equipment and manpower; maintains progress against target records for installation activities.
- Troubleshoots problems on the installation site; writes change orders, recommends adjustments to installation schedule, discusses and resolves quality of work issues with subcontractors as needed.
- Maintains check on materials inventories, fabrication programs and other factors affecting install schedules.
- Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises assigned staff. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMPETENCIES

- Ability to read and write delivery schedules and reports
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program
