Job Position: General Labor

Pay Range: 18.00 - 22.00

Summary:

General laborer duties may include cleaning job areas, loading and assembly of product and using a variety of tools and machines such as forklifts, power tools and grinders.

Job Description:

Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/supervisor in a timely manner
Dissemble steel pieces from stamped or laser cut sheets and sort according to order
Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, and set out or put away tools
Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work

Qualification / Requirements:

Basic math skills
Familiar with the function of hand tools related to grinding/deburring materials
Good attention to detail and self-motivated
Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer
Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team
Manual dexterity to use hand held tools and shop machines
Positive attitude and work ethic
1+ year forklift operation experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
1+ year experience in general labor/manufacturing and/or metal fabrication
Ability to understand blueprints documents
Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBOSS
Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents.
