The Sr Product Analyst will provide strategic and technical product management support in the Value-Based Care space for Provider Enablement solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with solution owners, tech product leads, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to support business case analysis, drive product strategy through market and client research, and translate insights into recommendations for prototyping and final development by the engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded product analyst who can leverage a strong background in clinical and quality domains and healthcare analytics. They will excel in collaborating across cross-functional initiatives. Strong communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to work under tight deadlines while handling multiple tasks, are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Support multi-year technology product vision, strategy, and roadmaps tied to outcomes
  • Evaluate competitive position
  • Conduct market outreach to validate assumptions around assumed high-value outcomes
  • Evaluate market trends to proactively identify new opportunities expand product capabilities that drive increased market share
  • Facilitate synergies across the product suite targeted at shared buyers and user personas
  • Provide analysis and support for end-to-end business cases and lead stakeholder alignment, including:


    • Market sizing & growth projections
    • Total cost estimation
    • Governance reviews / leadership approvals
    • High-level business requirements
    • Business goals
    • Operational workflow and outcomes
    • Functional requirements


  • Support development of market sizing (including TAM, SAM, & SOM) to inform prioritization and estimate revenue growth
  • Grow and expand expertise within the product management team and other contributing teams

Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of professional experience the healthcare, healthcare tech, or technology sectors
  • 1+ years in a role supporting clinical, quality, population health, or VBC performance optimization in any combination of the following areas: population health management, social determinants of health, population stratification, care management, case management, care delivery, clinical delivery and optimization, clinical risk identification, or clinical coding and documentation
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Value-Based Healthcare
  • Proven ability to lead product discovery work as well as to synthesize market findings into new product/enhancement ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks
  • Proven ability to drive alignment in matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
