Sr. Technology Architect- Java Fullstack, Kafka

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Technology Architect with 16 to 19 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Kafka GITHUB Jenkins Springboot Microservices Java Webservices Java REST Web API Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns Java 8 Java 11 Core Java Advanced JavaScript and Advanced Java. Experience in Cards & Payments and Asset & Wealth Management domains is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex technology solutions using Java Fullstack and related technologies.
• Oversee the implementation of Kafka for real-time data processing and streaming applications.
• Provide technical expertise in GITHUB for version control and collaborative development.
• Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Springboot Microservices to ensure scalable and efficient application architecture.
• Implement Java Webservices and REST Web API to enable seamless integration with external systems.
• Apply Java Design Patterns to solve common software design problems and improve code maintainability.
• Ensure the use of Java 8 and Java 11 features to enhance application performance and security.
• Utilize Core Java and Advanced Java skills to develop robust and high-performance applications.
• Leverage Advanced JavaScript for front-end development and interactive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to the overall success of the project by delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Impact the companys purpose by developing technology solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in Kafka GITHUB Jenkins Springboot Microservices Java Webservices Java REST Web API Java Fullstack Java Design Patterns Java 8 Java 11 Core Java Advanced JavaScript and Advanced Java.
• Experience in Cards & Payments and Asset & Wealth Management domains is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts.
• No travel required.

Certifications Required

Certified Java Developer Certified Spring Professional Certified Jenkins Engineer

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until February 26, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $158,000 - $170,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
