Senior Project Manager-OIPA

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with 11 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in OIPA IVS, OIPA Architecture, OIPA Configuration, Integration and understanding of Life Insurance/Annuity domain. This hybrid role requires day shifts and may involve travel.

Job Locations: Durham, NC (This hybrid role requires day shifts and may involve travel)

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Oversee project planning scheduling and resource allocation to meet project objectives.
* Provide technical guidance and expertise in OIPA IVS OIPA Architecture and OIPA to project teams.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope goals and deliverables.
* Monitor project progress and performance identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
* Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
* Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
* Manage project documentation including project plans status reports and change requests.
* Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery.
* Support the development and maintenance of project management methodologies and tools.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project integration and implementation.
* Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
* Responsible for Coding and Unit testing of all OIPA development work
* Responsible for peer review, unit testing and functional testing
* Responsible for OIPA best practice for configuration

Qualifications:

* Possess a strong technical background in OIPA IVS OIPA Architecture and OIPA.
* Hands on experience of OIPA Configuration and Integration
* Demonstrate experience in managing large-scale projects in a hybrid work model.
* Exhibit excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Show proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
* Have a solid understanding of Life Insurance/Annuity domain.
* Display strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Hold relevant OIPA and LOMA - SRI Certification.

Salary:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
