Position - Art Director - Design Team Lead

The Art Directoris responsible for development and execution of allcreative deliverables. This management role will manage a team of various creative functions including-but not limited to-design and video, and is responsible for upholding brand standards, quality assurance, and traffic management.The Art Director is responsible fordevelopingoriginal concepts, executingdesigndeliverables,assigning andoverseeingmultiple projects,guiding andinspiringa team. Successful candidates must have direct experience inpeoplemanagement, creative conception, execution, design, andin-person clientpresentations. This player/coach roleis responsible fordeliveringcreative solutions for our clientsand improving JLL's competitive advantage.As part of our Marketing & Brokerage Support organization,thisleadershiprolewill report intotheNational Director, Marketing & Communications,andwillwork closely withother Managers and stakeholders on the teamtoestablish, evolve, and uphold strong brand and creative execution.Theideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to build and implement a new way of thinking and working within a growingorganization.

This leadership role requires strong communication skills, proven management success, and a pragmatic and solution-oriented work style and creative direction, as well as advancedtime and project management skills. The Art Director is the primary point of contact for stakeholders and places these relationships at the center of their creative solutions.This individual possesses the ability to balance the demands of the business, the brand, and develop the best creative solutions while leveraging a team to complete the best work possible.

What this job involves

  • Overseecreative team, project management and delivery of hundredsofcreative assetsforcampaignsand pitchesper year.

  • Develop/cascadecommunicationsto assure all internal stakeholdersand creative teamsare armed with information that createstransparency around processes and responsibilities

  • Build and grow the design team to meet current and future needs, as well as provide people leadership and team development.

  • Empowersteam members to take responsibility for their jobsandgoals,delegatesresponsibility,providesregular feedbackand monitorsaccountability.

  • Conceptualize, art direct and design across all mediums including digital, print, motion graphics, environmental and events

  • Graphically convey the company's expertise and differentiators in a professional and compelling fashion.

  • Produce graphic elements to create assets for print and digital across JLL branded projects, property marketing campaigns and new business presentations.

  • Develop custom design and templates for national brand activation, property marketing and sales enablement projects.Produce templates with master style guides to create efficiencies.

  • Responsible for national workflow, traffic management and resources nationally.

  • Collaborate withothermarketing & brokerage support leadershipto maintainconsistentworkflow,processes and ongoing operational needs.

  • Build a team community that promotes the sharing of ideas and assets to save time and improve quality.

  • Takes on full ownership of projects, managing through completion, including managing budgets, ensuring quality and timely services and providing ongoing communication to appropriate team members and leadership.

  • Responsible for implementing national processes andoperations.

  • Takes on fullresponsibilityfor creative teams and serves as the point of contact forworkflow and people management.

  • Ensures a high degree of accuracy and consistency in all design and creative output.

  • Manages internal data base to maintain a clean, national repository to easy share workload.

  • Monitors regional workflow with internal project management technology.

  • Analyzes metrics toidentify opportunities for optimization.

  • Ensure thatJLL brandedcreativeis always displayed consistentlyandin-line withglobalbrand guidelinestocreate equity and value in our brand.

  • Bachelor's degree, Bachelor's degree in Art preferred.

  • 6 yearsin design related field.

  • Expertknowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and PowerPoint is required. Strong attention to detail,leadership,organizational, andproblem-solvingskills.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of web designand video editing.

  • Ideal candidate will have a strong desire tomentor andgrowjunior design professionals.

  • Real estate experience a plus.

  • Must be a self-starter, but also a team player, with the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment.

  • Able to work in a high volume and deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to interface with high ranking executives in sales process

  • Ability to confidently present your ideas in person, or via screen sharing with collaborators.
