Power Platform Developer

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Public Trust clearance.

As the Power Platform Developer, you'll support the SharePoint and Power Platform project lead with planning, managing, and executing a wide range of Power Platform and SharePoint-related tasks and projects for the FDIC's Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO).

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Power Platform Developer: $110,000 to $120,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Power Platform Developer Responsibilities Include:



  • Collaborate with project lead and OCISO stakeholders to gather requirements and execute Power Platform and SharePoint tasks and projects.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) including workflows, apps, dashboards, and reports.
  • Serve as a Microsoft Power Platform SME to educate stakeholders and provide end-user training on Power Platform and SharePoint functionality.
  • Establish, manage, and audit access control to SharePoint and Power Platform, ensuring proper security protocols are followed.
  • Work with SharePoint and Power Platform project leads to troubleshoot and resolve Power Platform-related issues.
  • Manage multiple Power Platform and SharePoint projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Administer and develop SharePoint Online sites and solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Design and build custom apps and solutions in Power Apps to meet business requirements.
  • Create automated workflows in Power Automate to streamline business processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, transforming data into valuable insights.
  • Ensure the proper management and security of access controls in SharePoint and Power Platform environments.
  • Maintain adherence to best practices for information security and confidentiality when handling sensitive company data.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Power Platform Developer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • BS/BA in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience and certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Power Platform development, SharePoint administration, and related tasks.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), SharePoint Online, and security practices.
  • Proven ability to design and implement custom apps, workflows, and dashboards within the Power Platform.
  • Experience with managing access control and ensuring security in SharePoint and Power Platform environments.
  • Knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security and managing confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience conducting end-user training and offering support for SharePoint and Power Platform tools.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
