Cloud Software Engineering, Senior Advisor

The team is looking for a Cloud Software Engineer to assist with modernizing corporate data flows, engineering activities managing requirements with NiFi for data flow. The team is the focal point, creating and managing the requirements and details that ultimately make up the solutions the NiFi operations implements. In most cases this requires interfacing with Operations team, developers, and other projects. Candidate will also assist in evaluating and documenting existing DataFlow designs in operations as well as Systems Architectural Diagrams.

Basic Qualifications:

The Cloud Software Engineer shall have at least the following experience:

Shall have at least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. Shall have at least six(6) years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired and 12 years of equivalent experience. NOTE: A degree In Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field. A Master's degree in a Technical Field and 10 years of experience, a PhD and 7 years of experience, or 16 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

One of the following certifications required:

AWS Certified Developer-Associate
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Elastic Certified Engineer or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer (Desired Both Certifications)

Experience with our customer's Misson Systems

Experience in performing Transfer & Decommission efforts of legacy to new systems

Experience working with mission data formats
Experienced with reviewing and processing, or creating Dataflow Management Requests, DMRs.
Experience with Apache NiFi functionality and building DataFlows Understand analytical needs and requirements.
Ability to create Systems Architectural Diagrams depicting software and system function.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance is required.
