Starting Salary:

$21.17 - $23.74 plus benefits for full-time employees that include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, 401k and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

Summary:

The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in creating lasting value for those we serve by serving as a key interface for all internal and external customers. The Sales Coordinator's primary responsibility is to learn our business and how we sell our products and solutions to our customers. In addition, the Sales Coordinator will perform multiple projects and administrative duties as required for branch support. The Sales Coordinator is seen as a champion for the company culture and through all activities and actions promotes our culture, our 5 P's and our purpose to be our customer's competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:



  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Review reports of business transactions, sales reports, expense reports and analyze reports of project orders
  • Learn and service all areas of our business by providing customers with project details or information on products or services
  • Assist in providing excellent customer service for existing customers by providing solutions, managing projects, or providing information on products or services
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Inside Sales Representatives and Technicians to keep account activities and literature up to date
  • Develop technical and supplier knowledge
  • Assist with new employee-owner experience by training and in-boarding
  • Provide project demonstrations to qualified customers on request
  • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own vendor's production and delivery schedule
  • Emphasize salable features, quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales orders for orders obtained
  • Work side-by-side with the inside sales, and distribution teams to ensure quality customer service
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate employee or work group
  • Support sales team by communicating with customers over the phone and email and process customer requests and orders
  • Support a variety of departments across multiple branches through administrative projects and duties that will include but not be limited to:
  • Purchase and order branch supplies
  • Monitor conference room scheduling and ensure rooms are prepared as needed
  • Manage branch calendar
  • Maintain branch areas, displays and stock levels in an orderly fashion
  • Assist branch leadership in various reports
  • Manage Invoices & expense processing
  • Sort incoming mail and faxes and distribute as appropriate
  • Coordinate and schedule perfect tours, training classes, and company-wide meeting space, including conference room scheduling, food and drink, set up, and clean up
  • Build and maintain customer relationships

Job Requirements/Specifications:



  • Minimum of two year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Electrical product knowledge is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to travel (approximately 15%) for training and support of customer needs
