How you will make an impact:
  • Disassembly and reassembly of medical devices using various screw drivers, wrenches, torque wrenches, tube cutters. Glue and cure with UV wands.
  • Laser welding with fixtures
  • Leak testing disposable components and durable subassemblies
  • Use of arbor presses, usually with fixtures
What you need to be successful:
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble medical devices. Must be able to assemble components into finished products.
  • Experience with basic hand tools and some power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills).
  • Ability to write and communicate in English.
  • Respect and adhere to strict quality standards.
  • Basic documentation skills. Ability to follow written operating procedures.
  • Must maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Attention to detail.
Nice to have:
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Laser welding
  • Soldering
  • Cable and harness assembly
  • Experience with dremels, bench grinders, arbor presses, band saws, drill presses
  • Experience with drilling and taping
