Job Title: Intern, Product Management

Location: Richmond, VA

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an Intern, Product Management who will be responsible for product and process implementation

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

  • Intern will work with assigned mentor(s) to improve process documentation and system tools including technical writing, aftermarket catalog creation
  • Develop basic understanding of relevant industry and regulatory requirements
  • Develop basic understanding of competitive landscape
  • Develop understanding of customer needs and key purchase criteria

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Enrolled in a four-year business degree program or equivalent

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • Basic knowledge of business 101 principles.
  • Some exposure to basic financial analysis or accounting principles
  • Project management basic understanding
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools
  • Technical writing or marketing brochure development

To be a great fit for the role:

  • Ability with implement processes and tools
  • Demonstrated customer aptitude is desirable.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited information exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
