We're looking for a Community Outreach Coordinator who will serve as the bridge between Northrim Bank and the vibrant communities we proudly serve. This is a high-energy, dynamic role that involves everything from organizing community events to collaborating with bank employees, customers, and local organizations. Whether you're helping coordinate volunteer activities, engaging with the media, or managing exciting events, your work will help showcase our mission of service and community development.

Strategic Thinker: Help steer public relations efforts, from managing the bank's contribution budget to handling compliance and legal issues. Your insights will shape decisions that drive positive change.

Creative Problem Solver: You'll maintain a marketing inventory of promotional materials and organize community outreach campaigns. Your ability to balance creativity with budgeting will ensure each initiative is a win.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • A Passion for Community: You know Alaska like the back of your hand and love connecting with people. Whether it's through networking, attending events, or simply listening, you're always finding ways to help others.

  • Experience & Expertise: With at least 3 years of experience in public relations or marketing, you know how to craft compelling messages and execute flawlessly. Experience working in a corporate or nonprofit environment is a plus!

  • A Degree (or Experience): You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. If you've got extensive work experience instead, that works too!

  • Digital Savvy: You're comfortable with social media and digital platforms, and can create content that resonates with a wide audience. Bonus points for a keen eye for design!

  • Attention to Detail: Whether you're proofing press releases, reviewing budgets, or making sure a volunteer event runs smoothly, you thrive when everything is just right.
