The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java Full Stack Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients. Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

• Understands target state architecture and various components that cater to business capabilities.
• Responsible for Sprint and product deliverables.
• Develop and deploy target state components as per business requirements.
• Understand and document data flows in and between different systems / applications.
• Adheres to procedures and guidelines set forth.
• Assists team with any tech stack challenges and mitigate impediments.
• Compiling status reports and participating in all Scrum ceremonies.
• Prepare documentation, code Reviews & incorporate feedback on time.
• Educate staff members through training and individual support.
• Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

* Strong Java FSE Lead with minimum 9+ years of experience on Java, Full Stack strong experience in Java API, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular ver 16+ with strong understanding of Mongo DB, Oracle DB

* Strong hands-on experience in designing and delivering Java, Web Applications, Design and Development of API Services.

* Should have strong experience in Angular ver 16+, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

* Experience with Docker containerization, OpenShift, Jenkins CI/CD Process

* Should be independently able to work in complex Technical Ecosystem

* Should have experience in developing REST and SOAP Web Services

* Should be well versed in Troubleshooting Application issues by monitoring log.

* Should have very good communication skills.

* Should be able to assess and analyze work with client independently

* Preference would be given to candidates with the right attitude and eagerness to learn mindset.

* Candidate should have good experience in all layers of full stack development.

* Candidate should develop reusable code and familiar with DRY principle.

* Should be able to apply design patterns to implement graceful solutions.

* Using good interpersonal skills should be able to communicate effectively.
