Job Description:

Summary

This Business Development role is focused on establishing PROPWR (ProPetro Energy Solutions) commercial foothold for our Power Services in the Permian Basin. As the tip of the spear in broadening our partner access, this individual should have existing relationships with Oil & Gas producers and operators in the Permian, while also having a broad knowledge of various Oil & Gas verticals. Through collaboration with the commercial and technical team, this role will be driving opportunity generation into conversions for long-term power contract strategies. Strong skills articulating a value proposition, thinking strategically and handling objections is a must for achieving success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Open doors for discussions around power services in the Permian Basin, leveraging existing relationships with E&P's and Operators.
  • Facilitate high-level presentations on PROPWR service offering for Contracting Strategies for Power Services.
  • Collaborate with leadership and Comm Ops on target accounts, activity tracking, pipeline management and benchmarking to exceed annual budget plan.
  • Articulate PROPWR value proposition utilizing a consultive approach and handling objections.
  • Build meaningful professional relationships with key influencers and decision makers, while facilitating multi-threaded or "Zipper" relationships to be established throughout the organization.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at industry events, trade shows and social networking opportunities.
  • Manage opportunity pipeline utilizing digital tools: forecasting, updating activities and reporting on conversion to achieving target plan.
  • Work with Comm Ops on proposals, presentations and documentation requested by customers.
  • Provide feedback loop to manager on partner "big ideas" as it relates to power strategies.
  • Support commercial strategy in achieving sales targets.
  • Provide support to commercial operations on partner needs for KPI reporting and data insights.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5-years business development experience working for an Oil & Gas service solution business, preferred
  • Existing relationships with E&P's or Operators in the Permian Basin
  • Capable of articulating a service solutions technical advantage and quantifying value for the partner
  • Comfortable with long sales cycle business models, focused on strategic targets
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking at high levels within an organization
  • Comfortable in facilitating relationships to be built for a "Zipper Approach" within the organization
  • Fast learner and comfortable working in agile business environment
  • Relationship builder who focuses on delivering value for partners
  • Positive disposition, strong interpersonal skills and thinks quickly
  • Willingness to learn, grow and embrace new challenges
  • Comfortable disrupting conventional schools of thought and thinks outside the box
  • Familiar with CRM systems, SharePoint and utilizing digital tools to drive transparency and effectiveness in execution of commercial strategy
  • Proficient in MS Office 365, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% during the week
