About the Opportunity
DMI is seeking a Program Manager based in Atlanta, GA, to join our growing team and contribute to the successful management of high-impact federal projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of federal programs, ensuring successful delivery, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Develop and implement program strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with client needs and federal regulations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and internal teams to ensure program objectives are met.
- Provide senior-level leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and track program performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve targets and optimize outcomes.
- Manage program budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and cost control.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for federal clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and presentations.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Stay informed of federal policies, trends, and regulations, integrating relevant updates into program operations.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related area
- At least 5 years of experience managing federal programs or projects, with a solid understanding of federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
- Proven experience with federal agencies such as DOD, DHS, VA, or HHS.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-faceted programs from inception to completion.
- Strong project management skills with expertise in budgeting, resource management, and schedule tracking.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage senior government officials and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
