Overview
Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Research Associate II to preform research and/or development in collaboration with other scientific and technical staff. May exercise technical discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies. This position will be in support of The position will support the Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) at the Uniformed Services University (USU). This incumbent will be involved in Injury Prevention Research Laboratory Projects. The candidate will provide scientific, technical, and programmatic expertise to support research studies related to musculoskeletal health and performance optimization in military Service Members. The candidate will support development and conduct mixed-methods research studies, including designing research protocols and grant proposals; managing research regulatory documents; participating in or overseeing data collection and management; collaborating in data analysis and interpretation; and preparing and disseminating results in manuscripts, presentations, briefings, and reports. The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. Since its founding in 1983, HJF has served as a vital link between the military medical community and its federal and private partners. HJF's support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals.
