Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Adheres to Integer Core Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. Coordinates daily production needs that address safety, quality, and productivity. Requisitions, organizes, delivers, and maintains materials, supplies, and equipment for the production floor. Acts as lead and works autonomously within established procedures and takes direction from leaders. Monitors production and verifies production targets have been met. Monitors and maintains the standard of work, including quality, safety, and lean manufacturing within the team; will audit to ensure completion and communicate to supervisor as needed. Ensures Material Transactions and inventory management systems such as Kanban and other pull signals are being followed. Sets up equipment as needed for production and inspection as per process specification. Coordinates the work of others as directed by Supervisor. Ability to perform many of the operations in the department. Identify training needs and trains associates on operations and procedures. Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, job rotations, and classroom instruction. Participates in team activity focusing on continuous improvement initiatives. Performs other functions as required.
Education & Experience:
Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Technical degree or certification required. Minimum Experience: A minimum of 6 years work experience in a manufacturing environment. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge & Skills:
Special Skills: Ability to read in English, interpret and understand blueprints. Capability to use basic inspection tools and techniques. Capacity to understand and follow through with verbal and/or written instructions. Effective communication skills. Ability to perform majority of operations within the department. Computer proficiency.
