Job Description: Job Description Job Title: Associate Director, Tax Operations & Tax Compliance GCF Level: GCF 7.1 Department(s): Finance Division: International Reports to: Director, Controller and Head of Financial Reporting Tax Operations and Tax Compliance, a newly created function within Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada Bermuda Branch will oversee the tax operations of our International Life Business covering all taxes including, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Global Tax Reporting Regimes (FATCA, CRS) and Global Minium Tax Regimes. This role will ensure that tax returns are accurately completed and filed timely to the Bermuda Tax Authority in addition identifying tax optimization opportunities. Reporting to the Controller & Head of Financial Reporting, the Associate Director of Tax Operations and Compliance will support this objective through leading our tax operations with respect to tax compliance, tax reporting, and tax advisory maintaining constant interaction with our Asia Regional Office and the Corporate Tax teams.
