BIM - Water and Wastewater Utilities - The Woodlands, TX
Halff has a position open for a Water and Wastewater BIM Designer. This position presents a tremendous opportunity for responsibility and growth in our The Woodlands, TX location. The minimum qualifications and responsibilities are described below:
Role accountabilities:
- Conduct BIM model design, development, and delivery while ensuring that models and drawings comply with project and company standards.
- Assist with coordination between project team disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical). Assist with arranging necessary resources for effective file sharing across the company, with clients, sub consultants, or contractors.
- Assist the project manager with quality program compliance, including performing QA/QC reviews for technical approach, constructability, and uniformity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the production of designs using BIM for Water/Wastewater projects.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
- Able to use various computer software as tools for managing project design, drawings development, and solving basic engineering problems.
- Have knowledge of drafting, BIM processes, BIM coordination, and BIM outcomes.
- Can perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with limited supervision.
- Basic understanding of QA/QC reviews and quality program compliance best practices.
