Mold Maker

Advantage Technical is seeking a Mold Maker to support an extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to their growth. They are looking to add an experienced Mold Maker - Night Shift located in Buffalo Grove, IL, a full-time position with great benefits and professional growth!



Shift: 2:30pm - 10pm (M-F)

Reporting to the Tooling
Manager, the Mold Maker - Night Shift role
involves being responsible for a variety of molding and tooling activities.

What a typical day looks like:

• Comply with ISO:9001 standard.
• Plan sequence of operations for mold construction
• Detail all additional work authorized by the Project Work
  Order
• Responsible for the quality of work; Maintain ongoing
  inspection for work pieces
• Assembly all the mold components and verify proper tool
  function
• Read blueprints of the mold and plastic piece part and verify
  specifications
• Need to know Solidworks software and learn how to use Jobpack
• Work with the design engineering department to assure the
  mold drawings are "As Build"
• Support with knowledge all the apprentices
• Follow all company Safety policies and procedures
• Required
  to assist with mold repair concerns.
• Committed
  to continuous improvement.

The experience we're looking to
add to our team:

• Associate's
  degree or equivalent apprenticeship and/or education
• 10+
  years of experience
