What You'll Do
- BIOS Development: Design and develop UEFI BIOS for desktop, server, and workstation systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Porting and Testing: Perform BIOS porting for desktop, server boards, and workstations, and test functionality to ensure product quality and performance.
- Linux Kernel and Device Drivers: Work on Linux kernel development and related device drivers to support BIOS systems.
- Project Management: Manage the project timeline from design phase to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Engineering Support: Provide engineering support for customer issues related to BIOS systems, verifying system specifications and ensuring compatibility.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other engineering teams to evaluate design specifications and enhance system efficiency.
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in low-level software development.
- Experience with Legacy BIOS or UEFI BIOS code.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong background in software design using C, C++, and/or Assembly (preferred).
- Solid understanding of PC hardware architecture, BIOS, and Linux.
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently and self-motivate, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- In-Office Requirement: This position requires regular in-office attendance. The candidate must be present during standard working hours and participate in team meetings and other on-site activities.

Salary Range
$85,000 - $146,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
