Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with the goals of the Corporate & National Accounts Team and enterprise sales objectives.
- Use insights into healthcare trends, such as patient-centric care and digital health, to differentiate and position the organization as a trusted partner.
- Partner across teams (Sales, Product Development, Customer Experience) to ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives into broader business objectives.
Enterprise & Solutions Marketing
- Promote outcome-focused solutions that address clinical and operational challenges in key healthcare settings (e.g., Acute, Academic, Surgery Center, Physician Office, Government).
- Drive innovative marketing for Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) by focusing on portfolio solutions and contract maximization.
- Elevate clinical and operational outcomes, such as improved patient outcomes, safety, and process efficiency, through targeted solution marketing.
Sales Enablement
- Develop impactful tools, presentations, and campaigns that enhance the sales team's ability to engage and retain corporate and national accounts.
- Introduce innovative, interactive resources, such as scenario-based sales aids, that resonate with executive audiences and decision-makers.
- Establish clear KPIs to measure the success of marketing initiatives in driving sales growth and customer engagement.
Thought Leadership & Brand Differentiation
- Represent the organization as a thought leader at industry events, webinars, and conferences.
- Build and execute a content strategy that highlights innovations and the value proposition of the company's healthcare solutions through case studies, whitepapers, and digital platforms.
- Foster partnerships with stakeholders in the design and build community to promote connected care solutions in new construction projects.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Develop and mentor a high-performing marketing team, promoting professional growth and purpose-driven work.
- Leverage a strong network of marketing professionals, designers, and advisors to enhance campaign effectiveness and execution.
- Optimize marketing budgets and allocate resources to ensure maximum ROI and business impact.
Product, Clinical & Market Expertise
- Retain and continuously deepen knowledge of products, their applications, and their impact on healthcare providers and patients, while effectively communicating this knowledge to both internal teams and external partners.
- Utilize market insights to craft and execute innovative marketing strategies that position CONMED's products as leaders in the healthcare industry.
- Work closely with internal teams to identify emerging technologies and adapt business strategies, ensuring alignment with evolving market demands and opportunities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare or medical device marketing.
- Demonstrated success in enterprise marketing, sales enablement, and driving large-scale growth initiatives.
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, including IDNs, GPOs, and regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in crafting value propositions, executive messaging, and solutions-focused marketing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, navigate complex projects, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on using data to inform decision-making and evaluate marketing performance.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and digital analytics.
Disclosure as required by state law, the annual salary range for this position is $91,910 -$144,130. This is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
