PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Guest Services Supervisor's main objective is to support the front office manager and ensure guest, owner, and employee satisfaction at the front desk by fulfilling the Deer Valley Difference.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check guests in and out of The Lodges and settle unresolved check-outs upon departure
- Give guests directions, information, and instructions
- Concierge duties, including making reservations for restaurants and activities for guests, FITs, and owners
- Train staff on the night audit process
- Handle fire alarms and other emergencies
- Check for guest requests and services three days prior to their arrival
- Log all tickets, vouchers, gift cards, and gift baskets
- Balance and close out lift ticket sales
- Regularly monitors the pre-check in arrival forms through EZ Waiver.
- Assist with General Store operations using the POS system, operating the coffee machine, and opening and closing duties (as needed)
- Assist guests with any reasonable request
- Assist in coordinating the shuttle staff for guest pick-up and drop off
- Assist in coordinating the bell staff for guest requests and luggage pick up and drop off
- Handles gift card and credit card transactions
- Help the front office manager recruit, manage, train, motivate, and evaluate the front desk staff
- Work with the front office manager to develop processes and procedures to ensure smooth operation and flow at the front desk
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Staff leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience preferred
- Excellent understanding of computers, systems, and guest service tools
- Possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record to operate company vehicles
- Able to work overnight shifts and assist with other Deer Valley Lodging properties as needed
