Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Ensure the smooth operation of food preparation and serving. Oversee breakfast and apres ski, keeping the area clean, tidy, and replenished. Work together as a team to achieve our goal of superior guest service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Report to work on time and open up operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space in the kitchen
  • Simple preparation of breakfast/apres food items
  • Frequently check the breakfast/apres space during food service times to ensure that items are replenished, dirty dishes are removed promptly and it is kept clean
  • Assist in tidying up after breakfast/apres
  • Have a complete knowledge of all the food and beverage products offered
  • Help with the development of new simple menu items
  • Have a working knowledge of all food and beverage equipment
  • Oversee restocking and ordering/purchasing of food items
  • Assist our guests with any service needs
  • Assist with any other guest service tasks


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21+
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
  • Must maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude
  • Must be willing to converse with guests and owners
  • Utah Food Handler's Permit required (we can assist in you getting this)
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service
  • Honesty and reliability
  • Shifts can be in the morning, in the late afternoon/evening, or can be split depending on scheduling needs.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays (including spring break)


DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • Mid-March - late April
  • Shifts will bein the morning and in the late afternoon/evening. They can be split shift, or partial days


PAY RATE:
  • Pay: $20.00 per hour
