Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide Windows server support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.



Responsibilities

    Create and manage capacity and trending reports of system operations.
  • Analyze system requirements and performance of hardware/software systems, and develops/recommends specific measures to increase the overall efficiency of these systems.
  • Perform day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server and related servers.
  • Perform annual DISA STIGs compliance checks on all servers and installed software.


Qualifications

7+ years experience in systems administration. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ certified. Must hold one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (Server Admin), or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate. Experience installing, testing, tuning, maintaining, hardening, upgrading, patching, designing and documenting supporting systems, utility programs, and monitoring tools for physical and virtual Microsoft Windows Servers on both classified and unclassified networks. Experience with system design, implementation, and support of core Windows server infrastructure/components in the environment, specifically; Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Certificate Services, AD Federation Services, Key Management Services, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, and an ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
