Yours included. ***For immediate hire*** The Research Assistant's main responsibility will be helping with the
FORCE initiative (http://www.forceregistry.org), an international registry for Fontan patients (patients with a single ventricle or only one pumping chamber). The primary goal of the registry is to create the world's most comprehensive Fontan data set to date with patient history, clinical outcomes, and imaging data. With this dataset, we will apply advanced analytics and will leverage the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict outcomes. The ideal candidate is tech-enabled, can do some limited statistical analysis and will aide in the writing of manuscripts. Depending on the quality of the work, co-authorship in several manuscripts would be a reasonable expectation. The Research Assistant will work closely with and be mentored by a Pediatric Cardiologist. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in clinical research and looking to go to medical school. A 2 year time commitment is preferred, the Clinical Research Assistant will join a team of 6-7 individuals all working towards the same goal.
