Description General Position Overview Responsible for overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of one or more embedded software projects. Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrates SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.
- Develops and maintains software development plans including scope, objectives, timelines, resourcing, and metrics.
- Coordinates with Program Managers and cross functional engineering team to support program goals, milestones, and deliveries.
- Monitors project progress and status including monthly reporting, risk management, and project metrics.
- Facilitates daily stand-up meetings, assignment updates, and sprint planning.
- Develops and maintains technology and software supplier development agreements, schedules, acceptance criteria, and deliveries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering or Computer Science. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in embedded software project leadership.
- Experience with project management tools and software (JIRA, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage complex software projects with cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing outside software suppliers.
- Experience with software development models like CMMI or ASPICE is preferred.
- Experience with Agile development is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate, and/or reach throughout an entire shift.
- Must be able to handle and work with small parts.
