Dir, of ESG Governance and Data

The Office of the CTO is where innovation takes center stage. We inspire our global technicalcommunity to take on grand challenges, understand emerging trends, identify the criticalinflections, and drive our sustainability, Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) practicesthat will define the next generation of semiconductors and continued impact.

Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Plans, manages, and oversees the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction on initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

ESG Regulatory Compliance

• Lead and implement global ESG regulatory readiness projects and programs. Illustrative ESG regulations include EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), EU Taxonomy Regulation, California climate disclosure rules, and EU Forced Labor Regulation.
• Manage ESG data governance, including implementation of new and existing data controls, the development of Standard Operating Procedures, and managing internal and external data assurance to support ESG reporting.
• Create new processes and systems for data collection and verification. Liaise with Lam digital transformation organization and other internal data teams to ensure alignment across the organization.
• Monitor all global ESG regulations and provide regular updates to ESG management team and other internal stakeholders.
  

ESG Governance

• Lead the coordination and preparation ofexecutive and board meetings.
• Develop and implement systems and tools to strengthen ESG operations, executive review, communications,and cultivate agile decision-making.
• Work with internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure corporate ESG goal settingaligns with theevolving regulatory environment and supports a transparent reporting process.
• Manage Annual Operating Plan in coordination with matrixed internal stakeholder groups.
• Manage ESG contract execution, new vendor selection, and vendor payment activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Fifteen years of total relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ESG regulations, frameworks, and reporting standards, including experience with international regulations such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
• Strong understanding of ESG risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements, with a track record of mitigating risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Experience in coordinating stakeholder workstreams and driving efficient reporting and disclosure processes, including sustainability reports and ESG performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external executive presentations, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
