Cloud Solutions Architect - EDA (IC4) Location: Western United States Job Summary NetApp's Public Cloud Services team seeks an experienced Technical Solutions Architect to drive adoption of our AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP solutions in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) market across the Western United States. This role focuses on helping semiconductor and chip design companies optimize their cloud workloads through NetApp's first-party services on AWS. Key Responsibilities * Architect cloud solutions for compute-intensive EDA workloads, focusing on performance optimization and cost management * Lead technical workshops and proof-of-concepts for semiconductor customers * Drive strategic customer engagements by combining deep technical expertise with business acumen * Develop reference architectures and best practices for EDA workloads on AWS * Collaborate with AWS teams to evangelize NetApp solutions in the semiconductor industry * Guide customers on cloud migration strategies for EDA tool chains and design workflows Requirements * 8+ years of experience in technical solutions architecture, with exposure to EDA workloads * Deep understanding of storage performance requirements for chip design and verification * Strong AWS technical knowledge (certifications preferred) * Experience with high-performance computing and parallel workload optimization * Proven track record of driving complex technical sales cycles * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to influence senior technical stakeholders and executives * Willingness to travel within the Western United States (30%) Desired Skills * Experience with major EDA tools (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens) * Background in semiconductor design or manufacturing * Container orchestration expertise * Prior experience with NetApp ONTAP or similar enterprise storage solutions * Additional cloud platform knowledge (Azure, GCP)
Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 202,385 - 261,910 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's).
