Sr Analyst IT

Your main responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sr Analyst IT is responsible for supporting IT Infrastructure operations for manufacturing and logistics facilities. This includes but is not limited to, installation, maintenance and monitoring of all network devices including PCs, Printers, PDA Handheld devices, Cisco switches, and server and SAN. The Sr Analyst IT will also respond to end user support issues escalated from helpdesk support positions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • PC, PDA Handheld and Printer Support
  • Install, configure, and maintain devices
  • Monitor security events and respond to issues
  • Server and Storage Administration
  • Installation and common administration tasks for Windows servers
  • Administration and monitoring of a local SAN environment
  • Administration and monitoring for a VMware server environment
  • Network Installation and configuration of Cisco network switches and wireless access points
  • Understand WAN services and support as needed
  • Cloud, Server, and Storage Administration
  • Installation and common administration tasks for Windows servers
  • Administration and monitoring of a Cloud, server, and SAN environment
  • Monitor security events and respond to issues
  • Assist in deployment of IT Infrastructure equipment
  • Document common tasks and standard operations
  • Respond to end user issues that have escalated from helpdesk support
  • Work on ongoing IT projects as assigned
  • Provide after-hours support


What you bring

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

1. Must possess excellent analytical/problem solving skills; minimum of 5 years.

2. Ability to work remotely with external clients through a variety of remote access tools; minimum of 5 years.

3. Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
