We are looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to our team to further enhance our capabilities and sustain delivery excellence to our clients. As a BA, you will support a federal agency where the Karsun team is responsible for backend system development, operations and maintenance, data management, data transformation, data integration, IT Security Support, and data analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting requirement analysis, performing validations, preparing documentation, and delivering training to end users.

Requirement Analysis: Conduct thorough requirement analysis to understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

• Translate high level business requirements into user stories
• Develop acceptance test criteria using Agile methodologies
• Finalize requirements and maintain product backlog

Collaboration: Work closely with the application sustainment team and federal agency stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

• Facilitate Agile Scrum sprint ceremonies
• Collaborate with the sustainment team to manage the product backlog, set priorities, identify risk, and document progress
• Use Jira and other software to track and report project progress
• Configure and manage Agile Jira boards

Validation: Perform validations to ensure the requirements are accurately implemented in the solutions.

• Perform and coordinate testing activities
• Create detailed test cases and testing documentation

Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for processes, systems, and requirements. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

• Create detailed meeting minutes, status reports and other project documentation
• Create and update user manuals
• Create training presentations

* Document SOPs and technical specifications

Training: Deliver training sessions to end users to ensure they are proficient with new systems and processes.

Data Management and Analytics: Oversee data management activities, including data transformation, integration, and analysis. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analytics.

IT Security Support: Ensure IT security measures are in place and followed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math and/or Science, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

  • The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
  • Strong problem solving and design skills
  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous work streams, including projects and program initiatives, and prioritize, manage, and execute effectively with compressed timelines and ambiguous tasking
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of and complete relatively complex tasks, effectively using available resources with minimal guidance
  • Experience working in Agile framework
  • Experience using JIRA tools for backlog management and sprint progress
  • Experience working with key client stakeholders to define and document business processes including functional and technical system requirements
  * Experience with application development methodologies such as Agile including writing user stories/epics and acceptance criteria using Jira or Rally

• * Previous Experience:

  o Working with federal agencies or government projects

  o Experience as project coordinator

  * Relevant Certification:

  o Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

  o Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

  o SAFe Agilist

The proposed salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $140,000.00 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Karsun considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
