PRN - Day Shifts

Starting Pay - $26.33 to $32.91 (Based on Experience)

Qualifications:



  • Prior experience preferred
  • Demonstrates ability or continuing education preferred
  • BLS certification


Job Responsibilities:



  • Keeps current with procedures and regulations in the clinical laboratory.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Maintains adequate inventory in working areas.
  • Performs necessary quality control in all areas and follows-up with corrective action as needed.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Keeps accurate records of tests, quality control, and maintenance performed.
  • Performs EEGs as indicated under the director of the Neurology provider.
  • Evaluate quality control data, proficiency data, and quality assurance data as needed.
  • Reviews all Neurology procedures and policies on an annual basis.
  • Assists with the evaluation and development of new or improved test systems.
  • Assists with training new employees.
  • Attends the Fire Safety/Universal Precautions in-service as directed by Quality Services.
  • Completes all annual education as required.
  • Maintains a respectful working relationship with all co-workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
