Portfolio Analyst

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active DoE Q clearance or the ability to obtain a DoE Q clearance to be considered.

We are seeking a dynamic Portfolio Analyst to support cybersecurity operations and technical network management at customer sites. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cyber defenders, SOC/NOC personnel, and site management to maintain accurate technical documentation and facilitate operational enhancements.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Portfolio Analyst: $80,000 to $120,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Portfolio Analyst Responsibilities Include:



  • Maintain accurate technical data for customer site networks.
  • Collaborate with site management, cyber defenders, and SOC/NOC teams to update documentation.
  • Manage customer expectations, ensuring timely communications and issue escalations.
  • Review and update dynamic customer-specific supporting documentation.
  • Communicate document update plans to end users and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance on SOC and NOC services.
  • Track and manage outstanding site documentation status and customer onboarding processes.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and local personnel.
  • Provide program/project management for ad hoc tasks.
  • Ensure timely review, validation, and submission of deliverables.
  • Manage and execute customer communications for ad hoc tasks.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing for project needs.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Portfolio Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (can substitute with 4 years of relevant experience).
  • Six (6) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical documents, versioning, and business purposes.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity infrastructure hardware/software, networking, and protocols.
  • Knowledge of SOC and Incident Response concepts preferred.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Windows, and MS Office (Advanced level).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
