The Opportunity: Patient Care Assistant-Burn ICU
Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) supports the multi-disciplinary healthcare team by performing clinical and patient care tasks to ensure a safe and high-quality care environment. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring and recording vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and obtaining EKGs. The PCA responds promptly to patient needs while maintaining confidentiality, prioritizing patient safety, and communicating with respect and professionalism at all times.
Schedule Day (7am-3pm / 7am-7pm), Evening (3 pm-11 pm) Night (7 pm-7 am, 11 pm-7a) Rotational holiday and weekend schedule What do we have to offer?
