Position Title: Mortgage Appraisal Coordinator

Business Unit: Credit

Reports to: Supervisor of Mortgage Appraisal

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for the appraisal order process within mortgage which begins with the initial order being requested by the Mortgage Banking Consultant (MBC) through the receipt of the report for review by the appropriate group with approval authority. The position will help to manage turn times, address Service issues with the Appraisal Management Company (AMC) as well as Modification Requests for pricing or turn times.

Primary Responsibilities:

Reviews and finalizes appraisal orders through the Mercury Network (new orders and reinspections or completion certificates as necessary). Obtains missing information and manages escalations or delays in the ordering, inspection or completion of the reports. Interfaces with the sales, operations staff and AMC's to perfect process issues prior to the receipt of the report.

Monitors appraisal turn time on a transactional level to ensure that SLA's are met in a timely fashion to avoid tolerance cures and AIR delivery violations. Addresses issues with the appropriate appraisal review team based on product. Maintains communication with Processing, underwriting, sales and Secondary to this end.

Ensures that AMC's adhere to appraisal fee structures agreed upon in order to prevent tolerance cures and disclosure failures. Ensures that we remain compliant with this disclosure aspect of TRID on a transactional level. Ensures that the rotation established is followed and that the AMC's.

Assists in the procedure review for capturing the Intent to proceed and facilitate appraisal fee collection. Makes recommendations on process improvement and escalates AMC concerns.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
