Senior Engineer - Design, Failure and Mission Assurance

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be part of MDA's Engineering Design group and will support Engineering Technical Reviews, Failure Review Boards, Engineering Integration, and Mission Assurance Provisions Requirements Applicability Matrices (MAP RAMs).

Duties:

Enable MDA Programs in preparation of Mission Assurance Provisions Requirements Applicability Matrices (MAP RAMs) and in setting thresholds for each requirement in the MAP
• Support the preparation and review of Technical Review Plans for the conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews (SRR, PDRs, CDRs and Agile Reviews)
• Provide support during the planning and conduct of Engineering Technical Reviews
• Support System- and Element- Level failure reviews

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minumum of 12 years of experience
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles
• Experience in the flow-down of System-level requirements which influence Element-level designs.
• Experience conducting and managing failure reviews
• Exceptional communications and organization skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Master's degree in a STEM field

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of agile engineering design processes
• Knowledge of digital engineering principals
• Knowledge of and experience with the Missile Defense System (elements, products, increments and capabilities)
• Knowledge of the MDA Mission Assurance Provisions
