Your Role at Baxter

THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results!

Lead, motivate, coach, and communicate with the service team. Assist managing day-to-day of People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Help maintain inventory records of Baxter parts and components. Perform various technician duties in support of the department supervisor or engineer.

This is a full-time position where the candidate would report to the Batesville office. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
  • Fills in for employees who are sick, on vacation, training, etc.
  • Record keeping and maintenance of various production reports.
  • Complete shift operations, reporting, and other paper work as required in specific department.
  • Assist in daily operational Warehouse Worker duties as necessary.
  • Serve as a Department Safety Coordinator.
  • Packing of various finished products and raw material.
  • Perform material handling duties including loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Computerized labor reporting & inventory control transactions.
  • Support production / rework requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, tools and fixtures.
  • Back-Fill for Supervisor when they are not available.
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or (GED).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
  • Ability to learn and perform a wide range of activities.
  • Powered industrial vehicle (PIV) license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to physically lift and move bed frames.
  • Ability to work in non-climate controlled warehouse (extreme heat and cold).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Systems experience with JDE and DSI Software.

The estimated base salary for this position is $44,800 to $61,600 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
