Senior Software Developer

Are you a highly motivated and self-driven professional looking to make an impact in the world of data processing and software development? NS2 Mission is seeking a talented Software Developer to support our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will work alongside a team of skilled developers to build and maintain custom ETL parsers using Java and Oracle. If you have a passion for big data, object-oriented programming, and performance optimization we want to hear from you!

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a scientific or technical discipline.
  • Strong debugging skills with proven experience identifying and resolving issues in existing code.
  • Hands-on experience with software engineering best practices, including SDLC methodologies, Agile development, and tools such as JIRA.
  • Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and related Java libraries.
  • Experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
  • Strong understanding of unit testing methodologies.
  • Experience handling large-scale data processing with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, including Splunk, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab, Maven, and Git.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Solutions Architect Professional or DBMS/programming certifications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
