Pay Range

$19.00 - $28.00 hourly

Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

Check out our shift differential pay in addition to our base wage:
* An additional $1.25 per hour for hours worked between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
* An additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm - 7:00am

We Require

  • Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion from an accredited health care training program

  • High school diploma or GED

We Also Value

  • One or more years of work experience as a medical assistant

  • Experience with electronic health records

  • Experience performing front and back office Medical Assistant duties, including phlebotomy, venipuncture, patient vitals, and EKGs

  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification from the American Medical Technologists

Job Contributions

  • Perform duties within the medical assistant scope of practice to ensure quality patient care

  • Complete required documentation in the electronic health record or other modality

  • Verify dental, behavioral, and medical health information with outside healthcare organizations

  • Conduct office duties, including copying, filing, scanning, scheduling, and document preparation

  • Respond to and direct clinical calls effectively and professionally in-person, telephonically, and online

  • Maintain confidentiality of all information in all communication and interactions

Working Conditions

  • Most work is performed in a clinical environment, indoors in a confined area

  • Ability to work extended hours and overtime may be required

  • Ability to transport medical equipment and lift patients

  • Ability to get on the floor to perform CPR/chest compressions, push medical equipment, climb stairs, and lift patients on a gurney that may weigh up to 35 pounds

  • Will be assigned to various clinical locations in the Phoenix area within a 5-mile radius
