Overview

The Condition Monitoring Analyst will proactively support both Blanchard Machinery equipment and our customers' equipment by analyzing Product Link fault codes, oil sample results, machine inspection reports, equipment repair history, and site conditions. Based on these analyses, the Condition Monitoring Analyst will provide actionable recommendations to enhance the equipment's performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC.
  • Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Utilize the Condition Monitoring (CM) Dashboard from UPTAKE to review oil samples, inspection data, and telematics data.
  • Interpret data from the CM dashboard to create leads.
  • Generate and deliver EM Solutions reports to customers.
  • Establish and maintain EM Solutions billing to customers.
  • Communicate with PSSRs and MSRs about equipment leads and follow up on this communication.
  • Utilize email and SalesLink and ServiceLink for communication.
  • Communicate directly with customers when needed concerning Condition Monitoring items.
  • Track and report monthly Condition Monitoring "wins."
  • Provide pricing estimates when needed using PSQ (Parts and Sales Quoter).
  • Work with dealership Standard Jobs Coordinator to use dealership SOC database files for pricing.
  • Validate repair option standards throughout the dealership.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain daily routines and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and technicians both verbally and written.
  • Employ reports and analysis skills to make CM recommendations.
  • Make decisions and recommendations based on the situation and service experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Basic understanding of chemical or oil analysis is a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience with heavy equipment operations and design is beneficial.
  • Experienced user of the dealer's business systems (SISWEB, Contract Tracking, Work Order, or Parts Ordering) with ability to learn new platforms.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional critical thinking ability.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer software programs, with proficiency in various applications, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to set goals, manage multiple projects simultaneously while establishing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, Caterpillar and other Blanchard employees at all levels.
  • Ability to run reports, analyze data and draw conclusions from the information to offer recommendations to customers.
  • Ability to create and present value-based alternatives and solutions to customers based on your own conclusions and recommendations.

Working Conditions

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work primarily inside throughout the year.
  • Position requires employee to be physically present at designated worksite location.
