Overview

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work closely with our Principals in our civil/site practice to plan and execute projects within commercial, industrial, institutional, and construction sectors, communicate with clients, develop new client opportunities, and grow your career. You'll coordinate with other practices (including environmental, ecological and surveying practices) to address project-specific needs. You will also manage/mentor staff and attend industry organization and client meetings.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

    Utilizing your network to develop business for the Toledo office
  • Work with the team to design and oversee all aspects of projects which will include site layout, grading, stormwater management, water quality best management practices, utilities, and construction details
  • Responsible for Quality Control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from concept, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering;
  • 10+ years' professional engineering experience;
  • Professional Engineering License (P.E.) in Ohio;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D;
  • Experience and knowledge in OH related to civil site design;
  • Ability and desire to mentor staff;
  • Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering Deliverables
  • Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution;
  • Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business.
