Procurement Specialist - Software/Hardware

Dexian is currently sourcing candidates for a Software Procurement Specialist opportunity. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the processing, tracking, and reporting of software purchases for our premier aerospace customer.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:

• Software purchasing
• Maintaining and developing vendor relationships
• Pricing updates and model management
• Software subscription renewals
• Providing end-users with purchasing assistance and recommendations
• Ensuring classified and unclassified software is available
• Work to innovate and optimize all purchasing processes
• Ensure that systems and/or data is ready for audits

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• 3+ years' experience in an IT Enterprise environment focusing on software and/or hardware procurement and asset management
• Customer service experience (call center, retail, or other customer facing role)
• Advanced working knowledge of all MS Office Suite applications (Work, Excel, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills required. Must be able to multitask and shift focus in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adhere to set SLA's and quotas
• Working Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system

This position requires an active Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret level at time of hire or ability to obtain a security clearance.
U.S. citizens ONLY are eligible for a security clearance and this position.

EDUCATION:
Associate's degree in business administration or other related course of study required. Continuing education is encouraged.

COMPENSATION:
Dexian reasonably expects to offer $33.58 - $39.51/hour for this position plus benefits to include generous time off, health, dental and vision insurance, etc.

LOCATION:
This is a remote position requiring core hours of 9am - 4pm EST or PT.

OTHER:
This is a contingent position with funding expected to begin in April 2025. The time frame may fluctuate earlier or later.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Submit/Pass a 10-year background check, criminal history, drug screening, and fingerprints
Valid driver's license/Real-ID with clean driver's history
Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to research, resolve and complete tasks within pre-determined deadlines and schedules
Able to process work quickly and accurately despite interruptions, changing timelines and priorities, on a regular basis
Position may require dexterity and ability to sit, stand, walk extended distances
