We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect with 18 to 20 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in Avaya Voice Portal/IR and the Contact Center Domain. Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift with no travel required.

Experience: 8 - 20 Years

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 and $185,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex Avaya Voice Portal/IR solutions to enhance our contact center capabilities.
  • Oversee the integration of Avaya systems with existing infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation to support system design and implementation.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Avaya Voice Portal/IR systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Avaya technologies and incorporate them into our solutions.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Ensure that all solutions are scalable secure and aligned with the companys long-term vision.

Qualifications

  • Possess a deep understanding of Avaya Voice Portal/IR and its applications in the contact center domain.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of system integration and architecture principles.
  • Show proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
