IT Project Manager

Crave new challenges by solving difficult customer problems using emerging technology? We are seeking an IT Project Manager to help lead various enterprise application teams for a U.S. Navy client. The right candidate will have the ability to provide oversight to multiple application teams, communicate effectively, collaborate with development teams, and build client relationships.

As an IT Project Manager on our team, you will have the right mix of management and technical skills to help successfully deliver cross-functional digital innovation. You will have exceptional organizational, project management, and technical acumen. You will work in tandem with the Deputy Program Manager and Program Manager to provide oversight and accountability for various tasks related to the delivery, management, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise applications to include ServiceNow and SharePoint or PowerApps. You will maintain responsibility for client deliverables, scheduling, and determining and acquiring needed resources. You will assist with maintaining awareness of the entire enterprise applications program scope and keeping awareness of deadlines to ensure on-time delivery. You will be empowered to assist with leading a large team that includes requirement analysts, communication analysts, process engineers, and configuration analysts. You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with IT project managementand using Scrum to lead digital transformation, software development, or knowledge management projects
  • 5+ years of experience leading development efforts with low-code/no-code platforms such as ServiceNow, M365, SharePoint, OpenText, or PowerApps
  • 3+ years of experience managing and leading a mid-size technical team
  • Experience planning and implementing strategies, developing roadmaps, and coordinating activities across program team members and reporting to executive leadership
  • Experience developing status reports and managing project risks and client's expectations byperforming quality assurance on all deliverables
  • Experience managing customer or stakeholder relationships and tracking development of deliverables
  • Experience supporting DoD programs
  • Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps transformation efforts such as Azure and AWS
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the Navy
  • Experience with ServiceNow HRSD, ITSM, or APM/SPM
  • Experience with M365 and SharePoint or PowerApps
  • Certified Scrum Master Certification
  • Security+ or similar Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
